Organic All Natural Oil FAQs

Still have questions? We have answers!

What does CBD stand for?

What’s the difference between CBD and hemp oil?

CBD can be extracted from virtually any part of a hemp plant- the stock, stem, leaves, etc. Whereas, hemp oil is specifically extracted from the seeds.

What’s the difference between cannabis and industrial hemp?

Industrial hemp contains far less THC whereas cannabis used for recreational and medical use contains higher amounts.

Will CBD make me high like cannabis?

The short answer is no. The long answer is that while CBD comes from the same plant as the recreational and medical drug known as “cannabis”, it carries trace amounts of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), or the property that gives you that “high” feeling from smoking or digesting cannabis. These trace amounts are so small, they won’t get you high. Think about it like drinking a kombucha. There are trace amounts of alcohol in kombucha, but you won’t get drunk from drinking it. All Laguna Canyon Organics products contain .3% or less THC.

Does CBD show up on a drug test?

Typically, no. But, since many CBD products do contain trace amounts of THC, it might. However, because the quantity of THC contents is so low, it will not stay in your system as long as other cannabis products. There are no guarantees.

What are the possible negative side effects of CBD or hemp oil?

For small quantities/doses there really shouldn’t be negative side effects. If you experience any, talk to your doctor immediately. However, in large quantities, you may experience:

Hemp oil:

  • May slow blood clotting
  • May cause diarrhea constipation, or gas as it is high in fiber

  • Inhibition of hepatic drug metabolism and decreased activity of p-glycoprotein
  • Dry mouth
  • Low blood pressure
  • Lightheadedness
  • Drowsiness

What’s the right dose of CBD?

Everybody is different, so there is no all-encompassing advice we can dish out for this one. Stick to the dosage outlined on the label. If you’re smaller than the average human, do a slightly smaller dose. If you’re larger than the average human, or are not feeling the effects you’re wanting from the product, try a dose-and-a-half at a time when you’re not at work, not driving, etc. and it’s safe for you to experiment in this way.

How does CBD work?

Can CBD be taken through TSA?

TSA has issued specific guidelines on what can and cannot fly with you between states. If the CBD product you are traveling with is derived from hemp with .3% THC or less, you’re good to go! All Laguna Canyon Organics products contain .3% or less THC.
